A digital holiday experience that spoke to everyone’s inner pop star.
TV spots alone do not a holiday campaign make. So as the digital/social agency for JCPenney, our role was to round out their “Jingle More Bells” TV campaign, online. The spots (created by Doner Advertising) involved carolers singing popular Christmas tunes with altered lyrics about great shopping deals. So we created JINGLE MINGLE, an online experience that let users form their own, professional-sounding Christmas choirs with friends and family, and become part of the largest global Christmas choir ever simply by singing into their webcams. The experience culminated in a LIVE concert event in New York City where we aggregated everyone’s vocal contributions onto the side of a building to serve as a backup choir to country star Blake Shelton’s rendition of “Silent Night.”
